Alora Bazylak

Born and raised in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Alora has danced at La Danse since the age of five. She is trained in various styles of dance including tap, jazz, ballet, pointe, and modern. While at La Danse, she has completed her CDTA Advanced Tap exam and has furthered her training at various dance conventions and workshops online, around Saskatchewan, and in New York City. Tap has always been her passion and she has had the opportunity to share this with students as an assistant and substitute teacher alongside Heather Myers for the past four years. Additionally, Alora has choreographed several small groups and solos and has already received choreography awards in her first year. Alora is also a member of Level Up Dance Company where she is able to further her tap training as well as perform on stage alongside fellow alumni dancers from around Saskatchewan.

Alora is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Cellular, Physiological, and Pharmacological Sciences at the University of Saskatchewan with hopes of entering the medical field in the future. Although a full-time student, Alora is extremely grateful for the time she spends at the studio and is excited to bring her ideas to life with more choreography opportunities this coming year.
