Kaitlyn Halcro

Kaitlyn grew up dancing at La Danse. She is trained in all genres of dance, however her passion has always been directed towards Jazz. As such, she is currently working towards becoming a qualified Associate and Licentiate of the CDTA. She is also certified in Module 1 & 2 in Acrobatic Arts. Kaitlyn’s classes focus on technique training in a positive and encouraging environment, and she is thrilled to be back for another season teaching Jazz, Acro and a bit of Tap.

Some of Kaitlyn’s proudest dance accomplishments include completing her CDTA Advanced Tap exam and obtaining a mark of distinction in her RAD Advanced 2 Ballet exam. Furthering her dance training, Kaitlyn has attended numerous workshops with renowned choreographers in both Canada and the U.S.  Some notable moments were attending the RWB Professional Division summer session, and performing at events such as We Day and Swinging with the Stars. In the past she has been a member of the Abiding Lines and Level Up dance companies.

In the spring of 2023 Kaitlyn obtained her Bachelor of Education degree from the U of S and is currently employed by Saskatoon Public Schools as substitute teacher. You may also occasionally find Kaitlyn subbing back at Marian Gymnastics where she coached for many years. While there, she obtained her Gymnastics Foundations and Comp 1 training courses.

Kaitlyn is excited to spend another season with the La Danse dancers and families sharing her passion for dance.
