Logan Currey
Logan started her dance journey with La Danse at four years old doing ballet with Mrs. Stark. She continued dancing with La Danse under the direction of Hazel Ann Stark, Heather Myers and Linda Erikson, training in various genres including ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, acro and modern dance. During her years at the studio from 2008-2022, she completed various CDTA tap exams as well as RAD ballet exams and competed with the studio in all the disciplines she trained. Logan has also assisted various jazz, lyrical and ballet classes at the studio during her time as a dancer as well as in the year following graduation from the studio.
In the fall Logan will be entering her second year at the University of Saskatchewan as a student looking to complete a Bachelor of Science degree in Cellular, Physiological, and Pharmacological Sciences, with the end goal of pursing a career in the medical field.
Logan considers herself extremely lucky to have trained under the directors and their amazing staff at La Danse and was more than thrilled to stay with the studio after graduating as a teaching assistant, substitute teacher and dance mom at competitions to all the kids here at her second home. After finding a new passion for health and fitness beyond the studio and instead in the gym, Logan looks forward to sharing that same passion to benefit dancers during her stretch and strength class that she’ll be adding to her resume in the upcoming season.
