Competitions and Recital 2023/2024

Our goal is to provide meaningful performance opportunities to our dancers. We do this through our end of year recital as well as offering our dancers the ability to attend competitions in the spring.

RECITAL

Each year every dancer has the opportunity to perform at our year end recital in June. We have the honour to host our dress rehearsal and recital at TCU. Students work with their teachers throughout the year to develop a piece of choreography that demonstrates the skills and artistry developed through the year of classes.

COMPETITIONS

Select groups have the opportunity to attend competitions. We attend competitions so that our dancers have a variety of performance opportunities, on different stages and in front of different audiences. Each competition is selected based on its ability to provide meaningful adjudications/ feedback to the dancers. This allows the performance to also be a learning opportunity and part of our dance education philosophy.
